President Michael D Higgins will attend the funeral of former Bishop of Derry Edward Daly this afternoon.

Dr Daly passed away on Monday at the age of 82, following a battle with cancer.
He will be laid to rest in the grounds of his former Cathedral of St.Eugenes.
Bishop Daly will be forever remembered as the priest waving a white blood stained hankerchief on Bloody Sunday.
