The head of the TUI says "he's confident" that further strike action can be avoided at the country's secondary schools.

Talks between the unions and the Education Minister broke down last week over the self-assessment of exams under the planned reforms to the Junior Cert.
TUI President Gerry Quinn says his members have a number of other issues with the changes.
But he says he believes they won't lead to more strikes down the line.
