Local representatives in Ennis have hailed the town’s youth cafe The Junction as a success, two years after it first opened.

The Cloughleigh Road facility prompted concerns among people in the area, in part because of it’s proximity to the homes of a number of elderly residents.
However, management say a number of adults are making use of it’s facilities, including skills program, while Mayor of Ennis Councillor Peter Considine says fears about the facility subsided quickly after it opened.
