Power Sharing Deal Unlikely Says DUP And Sinn Féin

Both of the major parties in Northern Ireland say there’s no hope of a short-term deal to revive power-sharing there.

The DUP and Sinn Féin say there are still major hurdles to overcome – which Sinn Féin says can’t be solved during marching season.

The British government’s Secretary of State is due to announce short-term plans for the North in Westminster within the next hour.
