Power has been restored to around 12 thousand homes and businesses across Clare today following a fault on the system this morning.
Crews were dispatched to deal with the problem which most severely impacted people in the Miltown Malbay and Ennistymon areas.

ESB crews identified the source of the issue, which is located on the line North of Ennis and supply has since been restored to all areas.
