Approximately 122 customers are currently without power in Kilkee and its surrounding areas.
The faults were first reported at around 2:20pm this afternoon in the Newtown area of the seaside town.

The power outages are believed to have been caused by the inclement conditions owing to the yellow weather alert for wind and thunderstorms in effect on the South-West coast.
The ESB say they are currently working to repair the fault affecting its customers in Clare while the utility has issued an estimated power supply restoration time of 6:15pm this evening.
