Power has been restored to all but a small number of homes and businesses in Clare that lost power on account of the adverse weather conditions.
More than six thousand homes were without supply for a time yesterday, but ESB crews have been working around the clock to resolve the issues.

Close to hree hundred homes in North Clare were in the dark overnight, but work has been ongoing today to bring them back online.
ESB Clare Area Manager, Alan Hogan has been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill that he expects power to be fully restored by this evening.
