The Deputy State Pathologist has carried out tests on the body of a man found in Dublin this morning.

A passerby raised the alarm after spotting him on a small green area at Cherry Orchard Parade in Ballyfermot at around half past six.
A gun was found nearby.
Gardai are awaiting the results of the preliminary examinations carried out at the scene before deciding whether to launch a criminal investigation.
