Possibile evidence of an historical mass grave has been uncovered near Spanish Point.

The discovery has come as part of a project to explore the sinking of two Spanish Armada Galleons off the Irish coast in 1588.
Geophysics technology was used in the search, and it's now hoped that funding will be secured for further explorations
Dr. John Treacy of the San Marcos Project, which has led the project, says it's a significant discovery.
