Time Fast Approaching For Fine Gael To Enter Talks To Form Government – Carey

Clare’s Fine Gael TD claims Sinn Féin has had ample time to form a government and the time is fast approaching for his party to enter talks with a view to doing so instead.

The Dáil resumes from noon today, almost a month on from the general election, as efforts continue to reach an agreement on how the country will be led.

Progress has been slow so far and there has been criticism from some quarters given the rapid spread of the coronavirus, with some saying increased efforts to form a coalition is needed so that Ireland is focused and ready.
