McNamara Calls On Main Parties To Form National Government Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Clare’s Independent TD says a proposed Fine Gael-Fianna Fáil led government is “business as usual” under the political cover of increasing public concern.

As both parties are set for another meeting today, Michael McNamara is calling on the main parties to put their differences aside and form a national government to guide Ireland through the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Greens are also calling for a national government, even though the move has been rejected by the three biggest parties.
