Mayor Of Clare Criticises Trump Policies Ahead Of Presidential Visit

The Mayor of Clare has criticised the policies of President Donald Trump, ahead of his arrival here later today.

The US President and his wife Melania are due to touch down in Shannon Airport this afternoon where he will be met by the Taoiseach, before travelling to Doonbeg to his luxury golf resort.

Councillor Michael Begley, who will be in the welcoming party for the Trumps, admits that he’s unlikely to raise concerns when he meets the President later.
