Green Party Leader To Visit Clare This Evening

The Green Party leader is to visit Clare this evening.

Minister for Transport, Environment and Communications Eamon Ryan is to attend a free “conversation on climate” at the Old Ground Hotel In Ennis from 8.30pm tonight.

The event, which is to be hosted by Inagh-based Senator Roisin Garvey, is believed to be the first time a party leader in Government has held a public meeting in Clare since Eamon de Valera.

The Minister will then brief local Councillors on the Government’s Climate Action Plan tomorrow, along with joining Gaelscoil Mhichil Ciosog’s walking bus and visiting Shannon Airport.
