Fianna Fáil’s Finance Spokesperson has come out in support of reinstating Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD to the party’s front bench.
Timmy Dooley is still in hot water over his part in the VoteGate controversy, which saw his colleague Niall Collins cast a vote in his name when he wasn’t in the Dáil.
It has seen Micheál Martin remove both deputies from the front bench and strip Timmy of his position as Communications spokesperson, pending the outcome of an investigation into the controversy.
