Crowe Expects Any Coalition Agreement To Go Before Party Membership Before Being Passed

Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD expects any coalition agreement with Fine Gael will go before its members before it gets passed.

Cathal Crowe is commenting amid concern locally that because no Árd Fheis can be held to pass such plans, there will be no say for grassroots party members on whether to lead with their political rivals.

The two parties are continuing to negotiate with smaller parties and independent groupings, to get support for the framework for a coalition outlined last week.
