Clare TD Claims Early Recall Of Dáil Over Boris Controversy “Too Premature”

A petition calling on the British Prime Minister not to suspend Parliament has been signed by over one million people.

The British Prime Minister has sent ripples within both the opposition and his own party by shutting down the House of Commons for a month, until just two weeks out from the Brexit date.

Critics say Boris Johnson’s doing it to force through a no-deal Brexit, something he’s denied, and protests were held across the UK last night, with more are expected later.
