Clare Senator Insists Watt Questioning Over Holohan Secondment ‘Not A Witch Hunt’

Clare’s Fine Gael Senator insists Robert Watt being questioned in front of the Oireachtas Health Committee is not ‘a witch hunt’ against the civil servant.

The Secretary General of the Department of Health will be questioned by TDs and senators later today, along with Dr Tony Holohan, about the CMO’s abandoned secondment to Trinity College.

The move, was part of a project that would have cost €20 million over ten years.
