Calls For Regional Approach To Restrictions

Clare’s Independent TD is calling for the government to adopt a regional approach to implementing COVID-19 restrictions.

Michael McNamara has told the Dáil that he feels the higher rates of COVID-19 in Dublin, when compared with the rest of the country, show that different approaches are needed in different areas.

Pubs and Nightclubs were due to reopen from Monday but due to a rise in cases across the country, that has now been moved back to August 10th.
