Politician Ban At Community Post Office Meeting In Kilfenora

A community meeting is being held in Kilfenora tonight where concern at the closure of the local post office will be heard – but politicians are being told to stay away.

Six branches Clare are set to close after the reconfiguration of services by An Post – Lissycasey, Doonbeg, Cooraclare, Cree, Craggagh-Fanore along with Kilfenora.

A campaign to save them is well underway and delegates from this region have already addressed the Oireachtas Communications Committee this week.
