Clare Gardai are encouraging people in this county to slow down as they approach Operation Fanacht checkpoints this weekend.
An increased number of checkpoints will be mounted across the Banner over the next number of days as level five restrictions continue to be enforced.
Main routes in towns and villages will be patrolled, with people being encouraged not to leave Clare unless for essential purposes.
