There will be extra garda patrols in West Clare tonight, as this year’s Leaving Certs celebrate their results.
Concern had been raised by locals that a large number of young people were planning to hold leaving cert results parties in holiday homes here.
A joint statement has been issued by Councillors Joe Garrihy, Joe Killeen, Cillian Murphy and Shane Talty,asking students considering travelling to the coastal towns and villages to show respect and avoid any anti-social behaviour.
