The County’s Joint Policing Committee Chair believes Clare has one of the strongest cases in the country to secure a substantial portion of new funding announced to expand the garda fleet.

The Minister for Justice Heather Humphreys announced last week that an additional 4.3 million euro would be allocated to facilitate the purchase of an additional 122 garda vehicles next year.
