A post mortem examination is being carried out today on the body of a man recovered from the River Shannon in Limerick.

The body – believed to be that of a missing Ennis man was recovered last evening following extensive searches involving Limerick Fire and Rescue Service along with divers from Limerick Marine Search and Rescue
The man in his thirties was reported missing by family members over a week ago.
