“Please Don’t Panic” About Monkeypox Says Clare Infectious Diseases Expert

A Clare native Infectious Diseases expert is hopeful that the Monkeypox virus can be eradicated.

The World Health Organisation’s revealed the number of confirmed monkeypox cases has risen to 131, with a further 106 suspected infections in 19 countries.

In the UK, 57 people are known to have the viral disease.
