Plans have been unveiled to renovate a derelict building on Ennis’ main thoroughfare.
James Meade has applied for planning permission to create a new retail shopfront on 59 O’Connell Street.

The unit had previously served as a one stop shop for wedding accessories and has been vacant since 2021.
The proposed development would involve the installation of a new roof, windows and doors.
Clare County Council is due to make a decision on the plans by November 1st.
