It’s hoped a now derelict building in the heart of East Clare can be repurposed as the region’s arts and cultural hub.
Built in 1897, Killaloe Court House was last in session over 30 years ago and now plans have been drawn up to convert it into a landmark musical venue.

Clare County Council has applied for funding to complete the project under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund and is awaiting a decision in the near future.
Local Traditional Singer, Deirdre Scanlan says it would be a fantastic asset.
