Newmarket-on-Fergus GAA could soon benefit from a new clubhouse on its grounds.
The south Clare club has applied for planning permission to build a clubhouse and car park on the site of its pitch on the Ballycar Road.

Included in the structure would be “fit-for-purpose changing facilities, gym facilities and an indoor multi-purpose space for club training and activities”.
It’s stated the clubhouse would provide GAA and sports facilities for all age groups and will “make use of the existing club facilities including the recently completed astro-pitch and the new entrance”.
A decision will be reached on the application by August 4th.
