Planning Permission Sought For 56 Houses In Ennis

Planning permission is being sought to develop a 56-unit residential estate in Ennis.

The application by Leadlane (Drumbiggle) Limited was submitted last Wednesday (18th Jan) and is currently at the pre-validation stage.

An application has been submitted to Clare County Council to develop lands in Drumbiggle, Ennis, to the north of the Pairc na Coille Retirement Village.

 

Leadlane (Drumbiggle} Limited plan to build 56 housing units on the site as well as a creche facility.

The proposed development will consist of 34 houses and 22 apartments or duplexes.

These will be broken down into four 4-bed houses, twenty 3-bed houses, ten 3-bed houses in duplex units, six 2-bed apartments and sixteen 1-bed apartments.

A number of technical reports have been included with the application, including a natura imapct statement, an ecological impact assessment, a traffic & tranpsortation report and a bat report.

Once the application is validated, Clare County Council is expected to issue a decision by March 14th.
