Planning has been lodged for works to tackle flooding issues in Miltown Malbay.
Persistent flooding has effected residents in the Church Street area of the town, most recently in September of 2015.

Clare County Council has lodged a Part 8 application for works including the installation of flood protection embankments as well as upgrades to water drainage culverts.
Fianna Fáil’s Michael Hillery says it’s vital people have their say before the deadline for submissions next month.
