A planning application for a 51-house development in Newmarket-on-Fergus has been lodged with Clare County Council.
Woodhaven Development Ltd is seeking permission for the construction of 41 two-storey and 10 single-storey houses in Ballynacragga, just outside the town.

The proposed project also includes ancillary site works, connection to public services and a new storm water sewer to overflow to nearby Lough Gash.
A decision on the application is due by April 10th.
