The Loop Head Heritage Trail has been named as one of the finalists in the "Culture and Heritage" category of this year's World Responsible Tourism Awards.

Representatives will travel to London in November where they'll join with 36 other finalists from around the world in the hopes of claiming the top prize.
The project embedded the tourism industry within the community and Chair of Loop Head Tourism Cillian Murphy says the work could be replicated anywhere in the world.
