As thousands of people from throughout Clare prepare to walk from Darkness Into Light, Pieta House has said it hopes to bring more services to the county.
Calls have been made on the suicide prevention charity to provide intervention and treatment services here – currently people from Clare receive the charity’s free of charge support at it’s base in Mungret.
Tomorrow morning, at least 8,000 people are expected to take part in Pieta’s Darkness Into Light walks in Doolin, Ennis, Shannon, Killaloe/Ballina and Miltown Malbay.
