The five staff downed tools on Tuesday in a row with management over pay and conditions claiming that issues agreed at the Labour Court weren’t being implemented by the marts.

This was strenuously denied by the company which states its being extremely active at both official and local level to try and resolve the matter.
The disputes lead to the cancellation of the marts at Ennis and there were further pickets yesterday.
