Gardaí are investigating an early morning petrol bomb attack at Ennis courthouse.

At around 3.45 this morning, the fire alarm at Ennis courthouse was activated, alerting the monitoring company.
Gardaí went to investigate and discovered that a window in the family law courtroom had been smashed.
Inside, a bottle and traces of an accelerant, believed to be petrol, were found.
The fire brigade was alerted a few minutes later and two units arrived from the nearby Ennis station within minutes.
The fire didn't catch hold, and they left the scene before 5:30 this morning.
Gardaí in Ennis are investigating the incident, and people with information are asked to contact 065 6848100.
