A petition has been launched calling on government to provide a 42-year-old disabled Clare woman with her ‘forever home’.
Jennifer Hynes has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and asthma, and is currently residing in a nursing home but is looking for government to seek agreement with the HSE and the local authority to provide her with supports fit for purpose.

Jennifer is originally from Ennistymon but has been based in Ennis for the past decade.
Clare Disability Rights Activist Ann-Marie Flanagan, who launched the petition, says greater focus needs to be given by elected representatives towards disabled people.
