People Urged To Shop Local To Support Clare Businesses In Aftermath Of Storm Emma

The President of Ennis Chamber is urging people to shop local this week and pay back businesses in Clare for their support during Storm Emma.

Many shops and premises around the county were forced to close their doors last Thursday when the worst of the weather hit but essential businesses stayed open where possible.

However, with a massive drop in footfall in towns over the few days, businesses have been left counting the costs.

Will Cahir says now is the time to step up and show them gratitude.
