People Of Clare Asked To Give To Trócaire Appeal

The Kilmaley-based Executive Director of Trócaire is appealing to people to give what they can to this year's Lenten Appeal. 

Now in its 43rd year, the appeal aims to raise money in Ireland for the world's poorest people. 

235 thousand euro was raised in Clare through the appeal in 2015. 

And Eamonn Meehan says despite the economic downturn of the last number of years, donations remain strong.
