People In Clare Urged To Accurately Document Any Storm Damages Suffered Before Making Insurance Claim

People across Clare are being advised to accurately document both the extent of damage suffered during Storm Éowyn and the cost of potential repairs.

Insurance claims can be made for damage caused to cars and structures by debris or fallen trees, along with the loss of roof tiles in the aftermath of the red weather alert.

Campion Insurance, which has offices in Ennis, is advising people to take photos of any damage and to source an estimate for the cost of repairs independently.

Head of Claims, Stephen McKenna says this may help get minor claims seen through quicker, as loss adjusters won’t always be available due to the high volumes of claims being made in the aftermath of the storm.
