People Asked To Consider All Care Options Before Presenting To UHL Amid Continued High Attendances

People in Clare are being asked to consider all care options before presenting at the region’s main hospital’s emergency department this bank holiday weekend.

Demand has been increasing on University Hospital Limerick’s ED service over the last number of days, with overcrowding numbers at the hospital also high.

The UL Hospitals Group says that a significant number of people have presented at the ED this year who could have been treated at Injury Units, family doctors, out-of-hours GP services or pharmacies.
