A pedestrian in his 50's has died after being struck by a lorry in County Limerick.
The incident happened on Lord Edward Street, Kilmallock, shortly before five o'clock yesterday evening.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was transferred to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem is due to be carried out.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made – and they're appealing for witnesses to contact them.
