Paul O’Connell To Receive Honorary Degree From UL Today

Paul O'Connell's dedication to the sport of rugby will be recognised with an honorary degree from the University of Limerick today.

The former Ireland captain will be made a Doctor Of Science later.

The 36-year-old made a try-scoring debut for Ireland against Wales in 2002 and since then he's earned 108 caps playing for his country.

His international career ended in in jury at the world cup last month but he will play next season for the French club Toulon.
