The UL Hospitals Group is reminding people that the injury unit at Ennis General Hospital has re-opened following strike action by nurses yesterday.
Members of the public are also being asked to consider all their care options before attending the Emergency Department at University Hospital Limerick, as high volumes present at the Dooradoyle facility.

Patients attending the ED today can expect to experience extended waits in many cases.
People are being urged to visit their GP or GP our of hours service in the first instance, while the Injury Unit in Ennis is open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
