Two German nationals have been targeted by thieves, as they slept in their car in South-East Clare.

The vehicle was parked up at O'Briensbridge at around 5:30 last Wednesday morning when the pair were woken by two men who were brandishing what Gardaí describe as implements.
The men had concealed their faces, and intimidated them and stole property including money and passports.
