36 services to 11 countries are on offer, including a new twice weekly service to the Portuguese island of Madeira which celebrated its inaugural flight yesterday, and a new charter service to Palma with TUI.

There will also be 16 extra weekly departures with Ryanair to popular locations like Faro, Malaga, Alicante, Barcelona, Edinburgh, and Porto.

The Shannon Airport Group says this expansion aims to enhance travel options for passengers seeking city escapes and holiday breaks across Europe, the UK, and the USA.
