The Parish Priest of Quin was laid to rest today.

Ennis native Fr. Michael Collins passed away after an illness on Thursday.
The 69 year old who studied with the Columban Missionaries – taught as a teacher at the Ennis Boys National School prior to his ordination in 1983 and served as a priest in the Diocese of Killaloe for 32 years
Fr. Collins was laid to rest this afternoon in St Mary's Church Quin.
A parish mission planned by locals along with the late Fr. Collins will go ahead as planned from today, with organisers hoping for a large turnout in his memory.
