Four out of five child car seats in County Clare may not be correctly fitted.

The worrying claim comes from the Road Safety authority who are urging parents to ensure children are safely fastened while travelling by car.
They're organising a number of roadshows in Ennis and Shannon allowing parents and guardians here to make sure their child’s car seat is fitted correctly and that they're using the correct one.
Details for the ‘Check It Fits’ roadshows are as follows:
Dunnes Stores, Clonroad, Ennis (10am – 5.30pm, 26th February)
Lidl, Gort Road, Ennis (10am – 5.30pm, 27th February)
Lidl, Boyle Road, Shannon (10am – 5.30pm, 4th March)
