University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country today.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation 46 people are on trolleys in the emergecncy department and in overflow areas of wards at the facility.
It comes on the same week as Beaumont Hospital apologised to patients for long waiting times there and appealed to people not to attend it if at all possible.
Clare FM has sought comment from UHL on the overcrowding it is experiencing today.
In total there are 499 people on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.
