Pressures on staff at University Hospital Limerick have eased somewhat today, but overcrowding remains a problem.

22 patients are on trolleys in the A&E Unit at Dooradoyle, the highest number of any hospital outside of Leinster.
On Friday, the INMO reported there were 36 patients on trolleys at the hospital, and described the situation there as 'utter chaos.'
