Ennis General is operating at full capacity again today with several patients waiting for a bed.
Daily figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are currently four people being accommodated on trolleys and chairs at Clare’s County Hospital.

There’s a similar situation at Dooradoyle with 7 patients there waiting for a bed on a ward while staff in Galway are under severe pressure with 20 patients being treated on trolleys in and around the emergency department.
