Seventeen community centres in Clare are set to receive upgrades and refurbishments following a major funding boost.
Over €318,000 has been allocated to local projects today by the Department of Community and Rural Development.

The Ballynacally Community Centre, Abbey Community Hall, Mike McTigue Community Centre, Kildysart Community Hall and Tommy White Memorial Centre in Moy will all receive €25,000.
Clare Youth Service, East Clare Community Centre, Glare Music Centre as well as centres in Cratloe, Inagh, Kilkishen, Toonagh, Ogonnelloe, Shannon, Smith O’Briens GAA Club and Tubber GAA will all get between €6,000 and €23,000.
